Current Board Members (2019)

David DeCamp, President

davidDavid DeCamp is manager of corporate communications for Crowley Maritime Corp., a global logistics, energy and marine solutions company. In his role, DeCamp helps develop, enhance and protect the Crowley brand and grow the company’s market share and revenue by leading the company’s external and internal communications activities in its 34 countries and island territories. He oversees news media relations, and corporate marketing and communications content in print, web and social media channels. He also serves on corporate crisis management team. He is a member of the Leadership Jacksonville Class of 2019, and he serves on the board of directors for the Jacksonville Children’s Chorus as well as being a committee chairman for Meninak, a leading civic and public service organization in the city. He has volunteered for Junior Achievement and other community service organizations, and previously served as president of the Indiana University Alumni Chapter of Northeast Florida.

Prior to joining Crowley, DeCamp was communications director for the City of Jacksonville. He previously was a staff writer at the Tampa Bay Times in St. Petersburg, Fla., and the Florida Times-Union, where he covered elections for mayor to president. He is the recipient of awards from the Associated Press Managing Editors and the Society of Professional Journalists, as well as the Transportation Marketing and Sales Association.

A native of Indianapolis, he is a graduate of Indiana University in journalism and public policy. He and his spouse Jennifer reside in Jacksonville.

Vice President/Treasurer -  Philip A. Alia (Interim)

philipPhilip brings over 15 years of marketing communications and business management expertise specializing in brand management, marketing strategy, executive and crisis communications, customer service, strategic messaging, public relations, special events, advertising, creative development and corporate sponsorships.

Alia’s management experience includes successfully managing up to 58 full-time staff, over 1,000 volunteers and operating budgets in excess of $22M. He is currently number three for internal, external, investor, and executive communications for a $1.6B, publicly-traded company.

Philip’s professional experience includes management positions with various service-oriented companies including Advanced Disposal Services, Inc. (NYSE: ADSW), the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens, Vivid Media Concepts (an award-winning, multi-million dollar advertising agency), Forbes Magazine, Time Warner (NYSE: TWX), and the Walt Disney World Co. (NYSE: DIS). Philip received his Bachelors of Science from Rider University, a Graduate Certificate in Marketing Strategy from Cornell University’s Johnson School of Management, and his Master of Business Administration from Southeastern University.

Alia is currently the President of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) in Jacksonville and has previously served on various boards including; the Marine Industries Association of NE Florida, the American Cancer Society, the American Red Cross and is a volunteer with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. He has been married for over 20 years, has two sons and resides in St. Johns County, Fla.

Vice President of Programming - Denise Reagan

denise reaganDenise M. Reagan shares the stories of her creative colleagues and clients at Brunet-García Advertising as senior public relations manager. She spent 25 years in journalism as a writer, editor, designer, and manager of newspapers and websites across the country—Fort Wayne, Indiana; Detroit, Michigan; Minneapolis, Minnesota; Savannah, Georgia; and Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She returned to her hometown of Jacksonville to work at The Florida Times-Union, where she led the news, design, copy editing, graphics, photo, and video departments. As editor of Folio Weekly, she wrote regularly about politics, culture, and Downtown Jacksonville. As director of communications for the Museum of Contemporary Art Jacksonville, she oversaw all public relations, media relations, and social media and was one half of the creative team that produced all the museum’s marketing, collateral, and catalogs. For five years, Denise served as an adjunct professor at the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications where she taught a news design class. She is an experienced public speaker who has led seminars all over the United States and in Mexico, Canada, and China.

As a board member of PB&J Jacksonville, Denise organizes a series of talks about critical issues in Jacksonville and beyond called the Jam Sessions. She serves on the board of PB&J Jacksonville and The 5 & Dime, A Theatre Company, and volunteers for litter control projects, Changing Homelessness, the Society for News Design, and Online News Association. She also writes about Downtown for The Florida Times-Union and J Magazine.

Vice President - at - Large - Joanne Kazmierski

JoanneJoanne is the CEO and founder of Global Business Logistix, LLC, a company formed to provide exceptional project leadership in the international trade and logistics industry with a focus on workforce & economic development. Check out her company on Facebook!

Joanne has over 16 years of experience in the port, logistics, supply chain and transportation industry in areas of workforce and economic development experience with the Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT) and the Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA).

Her clients include the University of South Florida, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida, FSCJ, Jax Chamber and other educational institutions throughout the state and country.

Volunteering is important to Joanne. She currently is the Vice Chair of GlobalJax. a regional arm of the U.S. State Department, responsible for hosting hundreds of emerging leaders from all around the world. She serves at the VP of Communications for the Women in Transportation Seminar of Northeast Florida. She has been an avid mentor via Girl Scouting, Big Brothers Big Sisters of NE Florida and with local entrepreneurs.

Joanne has received her BS Degree in Marketing and Business Administration from the University of South Florida in Tampa. Joanne is carefree, passionate, family-oriented, and a work-a-holic who loves the mountains and nature! For relaxation, she enjoys a good walk on the beach or a bike ride. She and her husband, Dave, have two children, Jessica, and Justin, who both attend Florida State University in Tallahassee
